Nacarat for me this looks a pretty poor race apart from him and MDB for which blinkers might rekindle some better form, private be might have been a decent ew at double figure prices and some people think tom segal is the second coming but not for me,it will probably sluice up now.
February 27, 2010 at 11:34 #279412Rather fancy an ew on Le Burf, but not sure if I’ll get to the bookies to do so.
February 27, 2010 at 11:43 #279414I think Ollie Magern is good for place money
That’s not such a bad suggestion, he’s a c&d winner and has run well here before and has a turn round of 15lbs for 13 lengths with Nacarat compared with last years race.
February 27, 2010 at 11:44 #279415Forecast anyone?

A very grey cloudy day with a north, north easterly breeze, mild though!
Razor Royale
and
Madison du Berlais
! A progressive handicapper and a Class horse will do for me!
February 27, 2010 at 11:47 #279416I can’t see past Nacarat, but might have a little each-way on Something Wells.
February 27, 2010 at 13:08 #279438I have backed Piraya and Madison Du Berlais. Mr Pipe loves to win in front of the channel 4 cameras and both look to hold strong claims.
February 27, 2010 at 13:15 #279440Have had an e/w on Bible Lord at 40-1, may have some improvement on trip and ground. If Nacarat or Fistral Beach were bigger priced than they are I’d probably try a go on them.
February 27, 2010 at 14:49 #279453Bible Lord should carry a swag-bag rather than a saddle-cloth.
February 27, 2010 at 14:53 #279454He is definitely a rogue and dont think have ever backed him before but at a rogues price i thought he might have something at 3miles on soft. However I dont think it is really soft (perhaps good) listening to how the races have panned out so far. Have had a go on Oedipe just to retain some interest.
February 27, 2010 at 15:19 #279460If it’s any consolation, Bulwark, I also backed the equally recalcitrant Oedipe!
February 27, 2010 at 15:22 #279462Winners out on his feet; was really worried seeing him walking back. So sorry for Nacarat; this was his Gold Cup. Brave loser.
February 27, 2010 at 15:26 #279463If it’s any consolation, Bulwark, I also backed the equally recalcitrant Oedipe!

On that note I’ll take the hosepipe out of the car window…
February 27, 2010 at 15:42 #279468I like the look of
Massinis Maguire
at 80 on the machine,Kemptons 3m is within his Stamina reserves and good ground would help his chances, off 10-10lb i hope he takes his chances,it would put him spot on for the Ryanair too!
Razor Royale
at 60 is another who would be well handicapped if he got in the race! I would like to see him run at Cheltenham too,in the William Hill Trophy!
TLAPK"s biggest price winner of the year, but its what is expected from a King! Now i hate lying b*****ds so i will be quite honest and say i had a whole £2 on at 60,i had a lot more on at 25/1 and 20"s mind!
February 27, 2010 at 15:47 #279469Nice shootin’, Gord
February 27, 2010 at 16:08 #279471Backed nacarat with a very small saver on razor royale, bit worried when i saw him looking very unsteady coming in,mind you he took the last fence with him, hope he is ok.
February 27, 2010 at 17:30 #279489Good stuff Gord, you’re almighty. Top skills

You aint bad yourself tb,thanks!
I noticed my Nemesis Tom Segal was on the morning line today so i e-mailed Tanya to tell him "the real Ante-Post King reckons Razor Royale was a better 20/1 shot than the Pricewise selection Private Be" Anyone who saw the Victor Chandler at Cheltenham could see Razor was shall we say a bit blunt that day and on 8lb better terms was the better bet,far less exposed than the 11yo too! - AuthorPosts
