Is it just me, or is it getting harder and harder to find a copy of the Racing Post?
My local newsagent always used to have a couple of copies but more often than not is out now – the local supermarkets were all out this morning and even our local Smiths is increasingly hit and miss. Are they printing fewer copies?
I tried 5 shops this morning and drew a blank – annoying as I wanted to read the Chelters supplement.

I live in Liverpool, near the centre, at the moment and find it very hard to get a copy of the RP.
Tesco seem to have stopped stocking them, newsagents are hit and miss – and the only reliable source for me is the WH Smith’s inside Lime Street station. What’s going on?
February 17, 2011 at 19:33 #341068Tesco up here in Scotland still stock them – most of the time, as do Asda.
Might be a bit far to drive though!
February 17, 2011 at 22:25 #341102i used to order it from a local newsagent on my way to work. One day I missed out when the car was in the garage, and the poor (or probably not) shopkeeper told me that, unlike the plethora of daily rags, the RP is not a sale or return item, they are charged full whack for it.

thats true but surfing the internet may help you.if you like you can visit our site.
thanks…
February 18, 2011 at 03:45 #341117This is true for every racing periodical. I’ve found one bookstore in my area that carries the Daily Racing Form, and none that carry the Thoroughbred Times or Bloodhorse. Maybe nobody buys them at newsstands anymore, I don’t know.

We would like to have RP in Athens-Greece.
The way the system works you bet only from high street shops and there is no internet station for every customer in their premises.
So RP newspaper is useful.
Years ago the newspaper used to come on time but since the new airport it does n’t. So from 2002 no RP. That’s official from the "press distibution organization".
Are n’t there any faster planes ?Alternatively they should make a printer friendly version of the site. However, I estimate that a if you print pages it costs more than what you pay in the newsstand.
If you print the colourful pages it costs more. One day someone insisted I do it even though I explained him it costs and it came to about 30 bp for all the cards. - AuthorPosts
