Lol – the thread has created more interest, views and replies than any other for quite a while.
He may be mad as the proverbial wet hen but old Alan Ridley has certainly grabbed our attention.
I’m proceeding with the thread on the basis that…<br> <br>A) if it is spam then only the most deserving cases will fall for it and…

Davejay its not I don’t like it.
1) I feel having read the thread I have wasted an hour of my life.
2) Everyone on the thread is taking the **** out of Mr. Ridley and he is either too stupid or too naive to see that.
3) Maybe it started out as harmless fun but 9 pages later I think it makes people look a little funny and scariest of all Mr. Ridley honestly believes it!
4) Is it only me that doesn’t like it DaveJay? I doubt it somehow. But I will stand corrected if it only me that finds the thread a waste of time.

Agree with FSL. This topic seriously devalues TRF. Ridley is so obviously a complete crank and should not be given such a respected platform for his junk. God knows what new visitors to TRF think when reading is thread.
Right then, I understand exactly what you are saying here and I have read through the book a couple of times.
Secondly, in answer to your question, am I happy, no I am not. As the White Queen would say, ‘it’s a poor sort of memory that only works backwards’.
For anything like this to be real and not Pseudoscience, it must work in real time and you must be able to say that this will happen because x,y and z have just occurred.
You must start with the first event of the day, establish the ‘key’ for todays code and then predict all of the outcomes of the subsequent events, in a manner that would allow a cartel to clean up, which is what you have described in your book.
I reckon that many of us on here spent the first part of our puntng life getting over the mind’s trickery that tries to join up independant events. Those that are aware of this are having a go at you for a reason, those that aren’t are just joining in .. and JTS has posted on the wrong thread.<br>:biggrin:
ps .. Wallace new visitors would think that TRF is a broad church and encourages a difference of opinion. Corm I think this is the best thread on here in yonks, 9 pages in a couple of days !

I can safely say this is the greatest thread of all time.
Big Al has a unique way with words and numbers some of which occasionally appear in the right order.
I can’t wait for the 11th. It’s going to be punting armageddon I tell you! (Or at least we’ll get a five hundred page dossier form The Riddler telling you how the cartel have redefended the code using the new cryptographic uberstructure thus nulling and voiding his last 20 years work. Bummer.)
