AR – to paraphrase my old favourite, Blackadder –

Alan’s last message says basically, that, oops, the Cartel now knows that he’s cracked the code and they’ve come up with a new code.  So that means then that there won’t be any proofing possible.

I still would like Alan to explain how the bookies in the know can, whilst standing on their upturned box at their pitch, can decrypt their code in seconds.

I have also asked Alan to clarify that if all this happens in the last couple of minutes, or less, how the course bookie sorts out the liabilities already gathered on the horse?

I would certainly like a layman’s psychobabble-free explanation of this point.  If he would so please.

Curiously enough if you had backed all Frankie’s rides to level stakes in the 4 years  after the "magnificent 7" you would have lost less money then if you backed him in the 4 years prior to the 7  i.e he became a bigger liability for the "Cartel" after that fateful day.  It also insults massively one of the greatest sportsmen of his generation in any sport.  If the whole thing was rigged to encourage people to bet on the horses it backfired massively as the "Cartels" take from horseracing in the last few years has decreased not increased.

    The robot-speak is getting tiresome.

Dear God, its like reading the ramblings of Sir Humphrey’s autistic nephew. I don’t care what the bookies are up to, Mr Ridley, your mutilation of the English language is by far the bigger crime.

    ————————————————————————–<br>"Cartel fixed-odds coupons’ ‘Long List’ column headers.<br>Season 2003-2004

Notice in the 2003-2004 season that the William Hill column headers are different in layout from those of Ladbrokes and Coral. However, for the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons’ the Coral headers mirror William Hill. This jumbling of the fixedodds’header positions is as intentional a deception as omitted or rotated fixed-odds. Actions intended to confuse the budding ‘form’ study analyst, and it works so well it is the most subtle and yet obvious cartel fixed-odds data layout obfuscation available."<br>————————————————————————-

Now we know the sort of thing these devious bookie chaps are doing our card is well marked!!!

No betting code will be posted, as no betting code exists. It’s as simple as that. If such a thing did exist, this patronising sh*tter of the bull variety would have proved as much by now.

All this is is the rather mindless musings of a conspiracy theorist with an overactive, slightly befuddled, imagination. A fairly sad, lacklustre attempt by an ageing cryptographer (if indeed that’s what Mr. Ridley is) to make himself a real life Robert Langdon.

As I said before, the ‘betting code’ idea originally came about (I think) when the lines were moved on college and NBA basketball games to effectively put 75% of punters ‘out of the running’, so to speak. A practice which has also been employed by professional gambling groups, forcing the odds to a point where they can’t lose – no different then, in actual fact, to backing a horse ante-post and laying them off at 1/4 the odds come race time, accept that the move has been deemed natural in betting terms.

Systems threatening to expose the existence of some sort of code have been around for years, especially in the States, and some remain available to this day. It is interesting to note though that they expressly state that only selective events are coded and that the purchase of such information is only advised for those with discipline i.e. there won’t be very many bets.

That doesn’t quite fit with Boo Ridley’s assertion that every race is fixed, along with every English Premiership football match (what complete and utter pish – Liverpool really are that poor  ).

It’s also important to note that the aforementioned system is employing the tired old ‘make it look like the mug buying my drivel is getting a brilliant deal’ technique – without much success it would seem, although the author’s eBooks ‘Work At Home and Get Rich Online’ and ‘How To Manage Your Won Money at Gambling and Sports Betting from Busting It Up at Online Sportsbook’ apparently rank 1 and 2 in their respective categories (that category being complete and utter Macclesfield Town).

It’s fairly obvious, even to me, that this Kermit is no more a betting revolutionary than I am Steven Gerrard, failing even to grasp that his pathetic, monotonous, patronising posts are beginning to grate at even the easiest going of TRF patrons.

Just out of interest though, what happens when the ‘info-poor’ public accidentally stumble upon the winner of a rigged race as, surely, this would alter the market drastically and as such any subsequent code would be formed around an anomalous result. Or is it that you simply use the figures that make it look like you’re telling the truth (or convince you’re rapidly diminishing sense of realism that you’re seeing something that actually exists), them being nothing more than a mild, deceptive manipulation of statistics, the likes of which even the British government would be proud?

All it would take, Boo, is to post the result of one race tomorrow. No code, no pointers as to how everything is worked. Just a winner. 10 minutes before the off, or 10 seconds. No matter.

I won’t be holding my breath.

    Numberwang ~ genius!

Never mind Frankie Dettori ~ I would suggest that the mentalist author (is that the correct term?) rather shows up his ignorance by describing Walter Swinburn as an inexperienced apprentice, some 15 years after "the choirboy" had landed his first Derby on Shergar; fifteen years!!

Yet more patronising, libellous, irrelevant, non-sensical pish from TRFs (seemingly) resident nutcase. Not content with attempting to bemuse readers into believing the narrow-minded pap which he continues to fill the forum with, Boo Ridley continues to avoid putting his money where his mouth is and put up a selection a two.

I suggest you have your spare room re-decorated with rubber wallpaper as soon as possible.
