Academic researchers usually eschew seriously considering it but surely recent events in the racing world make a good case for the existence of ESP.

First we had a slew of horse racing tracks suddenly deciding to cut safety limits below 14. Now we have half a dozen dog tracks simultaneously withdrawing their DVDs.

Both ruling bodies deny any connection or collusion.

Either they’re taking us all for mugs or there’s some sort of collective consciousness out there travelling through the ether between tracks, possibly using ley lines as its ‘super highway’.

Glenn – since you haven’t got a good word to say about anyone or anything in this sport, have you considered following something else?

I hear football is quite good.
