I’m still convinced that Any Second Now can take advantage of his mark in Ireland, and I did consider him here, but I just wonder if Fairyhouse would be considered, despite him not having the ideal profile for that. Same applies to Ontheropes. Threw a few quid his way last time, and I’m sure I can get that back this year. He’s definitely on my radar for Fairyhouse.

I’m hoping there’s an Antepost Market for this, but it doesn’t get priced up every season. If there is one, then I’ll definitely bet Diol Ker. Not a horse I’ve bet before, and he’s kind of passed me by, but I think they’ve looked after him a bit recently, and this could be the time to bet him

    Diol Ker

Started chipping away at the JP pair at 20’s, and possibly a backup on Royal Thief here.

Finally found a race i’m semi interested in!

Queen Jane is my pick. 5 chase starts + showing herself to be pretty promising when a hd second to Brides Hill a horse i’d give a decent chance to in March. QJ looked to be staying well at Punchestown over 2m6 and her pedigree really screams at being a staying type.

I saw her at 20s slept on it and had to take 14s about her. I thought she’d be half that price. Really did.

Obviously the WPM runner is thrown in and could win this doing handstands but he has to jump and on his 3 starts over fences he hasn’t looked the most fluent. He’s very inexperienced and i wouldn’t want to be taking that price.

Couple of tickled e.w , Royal Thief has course form , won a amateurs race get convincingly , not shown much for Elliott get but I’ll take a big price , Frontal Assault is pretty constant in these , very hard horse to win with but he should be on the premises

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

I’ll have a small bet on Street Value at 16/1 who is proven over staying trips and has the assistance of Danny Mullins.

I’ll join you Ex ruby and I’ve taken 18-1 him, 28-1 frontal assault.

However as Jack says the Mullins one could be thrown in and the way the market is going, he’s expected to win here

Well done RtB. The Mullins horse was 4-6 in running when they were still over a mile out

In the end, none of the runners will run in the GN. I don’t think Any Second Now’s rating of 144 will be enough, especially not when 40 lengths behind the winner. The handicapper might drop him a pound or two.

The winner might be one for Aintree next year. All he does is stay, and Kennedy said that he doesn’t think the horse needs deep ground.
