Both horses I wanted to see in this, get an entry.
I’ve went with last year’s winner Pallasator at the 10’s. He looks laid out for this again, and the 10’s looks fair.
I won’t bet Cleonte Antepost, as his price should hold, but he’s much better than he shown when getting stuck in the mud at Chester, and current price of 8’s is fair.
The 20’s available for Black Corton also looks more than fair. Finished the NH season a high, and he looks like he’s heading here. He can clout his fences, do no problem with that here, and trip should be no issue. He’s worth a risk right now.
One eye on Cleonte, but for now….
Black Corton 20’s
Pallasator 10’sJune 22, 2019 at 03:37 #1446540Cleonte @ 9/2 & Corelli @ 5/1 for me
June 22, 2019 at 04:41 #1446549Wee Blackie for me too. Galway Plate is the target but would be great if he could pick this up on the way.
June 22, 2019 at 11:19 #1446611Gone with younevercall at 5/1 just annoyed I never looked at the race till this morning as have missed the bigger prices
June 22, 2019 at 13:12 #1446653For me this is one of the easiest races of the meeting.
There are three runners
MAX DYNAMITE who has to be respected being trained by Willie Mullins.
PALLASATOR who is getting on but if he puts his best foot forward will go close and at 9/1 four places is worth a bet
LUCKY DEAL at 9/1 is my idea of the winner and four places makes it a very attractive each way chance! And he looks a typical Johnston stayer!!Good Luck Guys
June 22, 2019 at 13:29 #1446666I had a punt on Max Dynamite a few days back at 4/1 (In ante post thread)
and I thought I was doing well as he was generally 100/30 early this morning. I’m a bit
concerned that he’s a drifter in the market and is easy to back at 5/1. I thought come the
day that he’d probably be about 5/2. If there’s no money coming for him before the race
I’d be a bit worried, I’m hoping for a late plunge to show there’s still confidence in the
horse.June 22, 2019 at 13:46 #1446671Go on Blackie! Will be an Ascot highlight if he wins
June 22, 2019 at 13:51 #1446672Cleonte and Corelli for me too MOM, with a saver on Max.
This looks an uncompetitive event; Younevercall is the only other I give a chance to, but he’s too short.Value Is EverythingJune 22, 2019 at 14:27 #1446681This is a smashing race to bring the meeting to a close, but I am completely undecided at this stage between Cleonte, Lucky Deal + Max Dynamite
