Really impressed with this novice hurdler and I think he’s one for the shortlist when he goes over fences next season.
Still looks a bit of a baby, but his style of hurdling suggests he’ll be a natural over the bigger obstacles and there’s a fair bit of scope for improvement, too.
Somersby and Quwetwo are two other potential Arkle / novice chase contenders for next season.
didn’t see Qozak today, but one of PN’s novice hurdlers (not Festival bound – keeping him fresh, by all accounts) who impressed me a huge amount was Alfie Sherrin at Fontwell last weekend. If you’re looking for a really long term, speculative punt, you could do a lot worse than follow this fellow for next year’s RSA chase.
