WOODSHAUNA 8/1 Ladbrokes
Lazzat 7/4 fav and top sprinter in the world but the selection be getting weight and 3yos got good record in race and been shocks before to.
August 9, 2025 at 21:08 #1737848Lazzat was very impressive at Ascot, this trip suits him even more. Trainer not in the best of form, not sure it really matters when it comes to this one.
Rayevka put in a great effort at Ascot too and she split two subsequent group race winners that day so has to be a play too.
I like Woodshauna and that extra 110 yards will bring her into it late but I felt too late as needs the whole 7f.Lazzat 19/20 Rayevka 13/2
August 10, 2025 at 00:06 #1737866Shadow Of Light – 10/1
Will have to reproduce his 2yo Dewhurst form and the going is a small concern but he wasn’t far behind Woodshauna last time and will run well.
Will Buick travelling back from Saratoga tonight to ride him after he finished 3rd on Nation’s Pride to stable companion El Cordobes ..
Symbol Of Honour – 25/1
Will go on the ground and could spring a surprise here.
Handsome looking grey by Havana Grey with Tom Marquand on board. Both EW
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 10, 2025 at 10:37 #1737886I’ll like Beauvatier and he placed in this last year, so I’ll try him at 20-1 ew
August 10, 2025 at 11:07 #1737887Also trying Woodshauna in this. 12s with Hills boost.
August 10, 2025 at 12:33 #1737891Topgear w/o Lazzat 11-2 free bet. Something’s gotta finish 2nd. :o)

Shadow Of Light a Non Runner

Leaves me with Symbol Of Honour EW and have played
Tribalist 28/1 EW
also in the hope Godolphin land a decent priced EW in this..
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 10, 2025 at 14:50 #1737899Given how inconsistent the top sprinters are, you have to take the fav on, albeit, hes the best this season so far, no doubt about it, will have a decent stake spread over
Woodshauna e/w @11/1
Inisherin e/w @14/1
Rayveka e/w @11/1Very unusual for me to do this in a race but i think theres an angle in, the fav is incredibly short, 2/1 seems fair, 4/7 is insanity
August 10, 2025 at 15:09 #1737900well that was….interesting
August 10, 2025 at 15:10 #1737901Another topsy turve sprint result. Topgear won easy against Sajir when they met last time.
August 10, 2025 at 15:15 #1737903Disappointed with rayevka there,
Got a small part back, but aside from that my point stood, insanity backing that in from
Evs into 1/2, who in there right mind is backing the current sprinters into that kind of priceWish i still had my bf account
August 10, 2025 at 15:18 #1737905Well done EW with Woodshauna Darren and Sergeant C.

I think we were all looking to beat the favourite but managed to sidestep the 28/1winner..
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 10, 2025 at 15:38 #1737909Is it the breeding? Bad horses win bad group 1s end up at the breeding shed when they shouldnt, the cycle continues. Washington DC, Sands Of Mali, Territories, Cable Bay all sired the winners of the sprint group 1s in our series this season. None of them were amazing horses. None of them very consistent. Make Believe’s turn today. Sajirs still a colt. Watch him not win another group 1, retire young for a sprinter and we’ll be watching his crop in a few years.
