Questionnaire with Thady Gosden up on Paris Turf about 9/1 shot Detain
May 30, 2025 at 04:33 #1731506Camille Pissarro ew 4 places
May 30, 2025 at 05:59 #1731508Obvious statement but if CP stays he wins, keep watching the French 2000 and he was keen enough that day, but stayed on ok.
I really am on the fence with this one whether to get involved
Dam has had a few getting 10+ furlongs and she just about got tenMay 30, 2025 at 09:43 #1731514“Obvious statement but if CP stays he wins, keep watching the French 2000 and he was keen enough that day, but stayed on ok.”
Jockey who rode him last time suggested to connections to go for this race next, so one would assume he rode like he would stay.
May 30, 2025 at 10:26 #1731523Fair enough as a very good judge once told me about racing way back in the day ‘ trust your eyes not your ears’
I really am 50/50 on it but have been wrong many times in the past

I watched the French 2000 Guineas race back as well. :o)
May 30, 2025 at 11:17 #1731530For me cant make my mind up, you obviously can, that’s what’s good about the game its about opinions
May 31, 2025 at 21:41 #1731731Having watched the race back, Camille, Ridari and Detain all finish slightly stronger than Luther but he used up more juice to get across and sit in sixth off what was a strong pace while the aforementioned other three were 5 lengths behind Luther throughout until turning in. Only Luther and Jonquil who were part of that first wave stayed all the way to the line.
Camille has stall 1 but fact finding if he stays this trip might mean they want him to settle further back anyways. I also like the idea of Frankel siring a French Derby winner. If he can do it for Fellowes and Shoemark who were denied by the stewards in a case that didn’t gain much attention, derp, then even better I say, I say.
9/1 is OK.
June 1, 2025 at 12:16 #1731764I’ll try a couple of ews on Cualificar and Frankly Good Cen.
June 1, 2025 at 12:21 #1731765Camille Pissarro has the plum draw so 9-2 looks good to me
June 1, 2025 at 12:46 #1731770Very boring but the Obrien horse has a lot in its favour
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
June 1, 2025 at 14:58 #1731774I don’t fancy the O’Brien horse especially at the current odds, he was staying on last time but this is a longer trip. Slow pace he could pull, a quick pace he’d have to prove his stamina.. If I was a layer I would be doing him to 3 places.
Cualificar 14’s looks a fair enough priceGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
June 1, 2025 at 15:00 #1731775Ridari place Evens 1-4
