    ocean atlantique @ 6/1

I know trainer said he might run in the derby but someones taken all the lay money available for him on the derby, on the exchange, which could be a good sign that he wont be switched to the derby

Confirmed that Ocean Atlantique is being aimed at French Derby. Still 6/1 with William Hill.

Took the 5s each way. Him and the favourite gives the trainer a strong hand.

Ocean Atlantique was a 1/5F for a listed win against horses running in the 90s. Don’t understand the support personally at the prices.

Armory now looks pretty confirmed to come here and at 14/1, rates outstanding value for me. I’d have given him a chance in the Derby. AOBs can improve off their first runs as 3 year olds quite considerably and his form last year is actually some of the best on offer even with running twice in France last year on ground not at all in his favour.

Raining a bit in France today, but then dry so hopefully will get decent ground.

    Cracking EW bet for me.

    Armory 14/1 EW

Not to mention his eye-catching run in the 2000 Guineas, when he was given just one tap of the whip having got no room when starting his run and coming home late. He was not given a hard time at all and would’ve certainly gone a lot closer.

13 of the last 14 winners have been the ‘home’ horses so the percentage call is to stick to those. AOB has never won the race I think which indicates he tends not to bring his best horses here.

Fair point, I’d be surprised if Armory doesn’t finish in the first 3 though.

ocean atlantique is bet of season so far ( i hope) backed at 10-1 after his debut run – also in ew treble with raabiyah french oaks at 11-2 and tiz the law kentucky derby at 5-1 all 3 i think are certainties

Not a lot of love for the Ocean last 24 hours or so. 5s out to 7s.

Another case of aftertiming from me. Having failed to ever back the winner of any derby (or oaks) anywhere at any time, I have two Derbys in two days.

Victor Ludurom would never beat Gosdens horse no matter what. I think he is the best 3 year old Iv seen this year. His performance in Riyadh as a novice early this year was wonderful really. He looks very tough. I wonder if he might stay 1mile 4?
