    Me too Mike. :good:
    Glass Slippers 8/1.
She always improves towards the end of the season ad ran very good second to Battaash in the King George Qatar Stakes at Goodwood on ground that didn’t really suit.

Winner of this race last year on testing going she saw off Battaash who was out if his comfort zone and eased.
Both horses have improved and got stronger this year.

Glass Slippers also in the market for the Betway Sprint at 14/1 against the likes of Oxted so have to wait and see where she turns up but expecting a big run wherever she goes next.
    Best of luck..Jac :rose:

10/1 with WH and with the boost 10.88 for £60 on Glass Slippers, but I am waiting. I think Battaash is a totally different animal this season and maybe the weather is unsettled now but if we get a dry Autumn what covers northern France as well and the going is good, Battaash will win. It’s a big gamble right now because we don’t know what the going will be. With a horse like Palace Pier who acts on any going there is no gamble when it comes to the going.

    Air De Valse 20/1 EW
Niece to Cirrus des Aigles and beginning to assert herself over the sprint distances in France.
Progressive and now winning at Group 3 Level she will need to step up for this.

Will put Air De Valse with Glass Slippers my main bet for a rev. forecast on the day if both turn out and hope Battaash goes elsewhere. :good:

Can’t blame the Battaash team for not risking another defeat.
Glass Slippers won’t mind how much rain falls. She’s set fair to bag her second Abbaye. :good:

Last year on similar ground there was a huge draw bias in this race

Stall 3 beat stall 1 beat stall 4 beat stall 5

    All at huge prices

So if thats anything to go by the draw has scuppered glass slippers and make a challenge

The last 6 runnings here the winning stalls have been 7,12,5,12,13,3. So i am not too concerned.

2010 on vsft stall 1 won
2011 on gd stall 9 won
2012 on heavy was stalls 6/1/2
2013 on soft stall 7 won (out of 20)
2014 on gd stall 12 won
2015 on gd stall 5 won
2016 and 2017 were at chantilly
2018 on gd stall 13 won
2019 on vsft stall 3 won

Even just going back 10 years there is clearly a draw bias to low numbers when the ground gets very soft

On Gd anything wins on very soft low is an advantage

There may be something in it, however in 2013 on soft ground Catcall was drawn 10 and only got chinned on the line by Maarek by a short head. He was in stall 10 and the winner in 7. The trainer mentioned that the horse’s busy season schedule contributed to the defeat.

So who wins FF91 if its not Glass Slippers or Make A Challenge?

Glass Slippers is a standout here, ground, course etc. Would say she’s the winner.

If i had to pick one at a price it would be Wooded. Stays further and has some good form no? Maurice Ghest form looks good to me.

Thats the million dollar question mike

I will be having a small bet on wooded and air de valse I think

Wooded is very well drawn and air de valse will be trying to make the running so could get across to the rail from 7 if breaking well

Will be very small stakes though

I so want glassslippers to win but that stall 10 is a worry , I’ve played wooded as some here and another well drawn horse that interest me is liberty beach , played both and rev FC , good luck all

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
