Weather forecast at the moment would suggest at least some give.
Under those conditions I’d make White Birch favourite over Rodin.

Not a certainty, but a much better chance for Auguste Rodin now that the main danger has gone. There was always a chance that might happen. When Passenger was still in Auguste Rodin and White Birch were similar prices, but whereas it was always likely Auguste Rodin would run (that’s what you want when placing an ante-post bet), the same couldn’t be said about White Birch. Too much was made about the ground softening. Showers can sometimes be more miss than hit.
Its a shame for the race which is now a Group 1.5 with the 10 runners but 2 of them being pace makers for Blue Rose Cen and Rodin. Most of them not capable at this level, Lord North probably not far off retirement bless him. The two mares are his only credible danger but both have questions to answer of late. Too many options as per usual in the programme book and not enough high class horses to go round.
Connections of White Birch reported an unsatisfactory scope as reason for absence, not the ground.

Inspiral 32% 85/40
The Field 33% 2/1Value Is EverythingInspiral for me.
Like Auguste Rodin, she can throw in the occasional stinker but for me, her best beats anything in this race.
I can see the O’Brien tactics to control the race to stop Inspiral. No bet here.
The more I know the less I understand.
