Sadly broke a leg at Ascot and was put down. Very sad to hear. He has so much promise.
February 19, 2011 at 15:33 #341317Such a shame veterinary science can’t do more with a horse with a broken leg.
Rest Easy, Pride Of Dulcote. I’m so, so sorry I was really rude about you.

So don't run, just like the others always do
February 19, 2011 at 20:27 #341355Really sad news. This morning I was reading the Racing Post on-line and they had a great photo of him flying an open ditch – really super jump. Hard to believe he’s no longer with us. RIP.

February 19, 2011 at 23:30 #341384Terribly sad; beautiful horse.
February 20, 2011 at 14:24 #341449Thought he was OK at first as it looked like he’d got up but then no sign of him running on. I loved this horse, he looked so much like Kauto and was so promising. Another sad loss, but thanks at least to CH4 for telling us what had happened.
RIP Coty.
February 20, 2011 at 16:07 #341469Too much loss lately. Dulcote was so beautiful and so young. We were at Ascot, just awful to see them one minute so happy, and the next, gone.
He was a much loved horse, had lots of fans, and his lass and connections adored him.
At least we have had the good news about Monet’s going home, one small blessing …..
March 12, 2011 at 12:44 #344346Still in the Cheltenham Gold Cup – listed as doubtful – why hasn’t his name been removed????
March 12, 2011 at 18:20 #344408What list are you reading from? Depends upon the bookies, some update, some do not. If it is the Racing Post, that list will not be updated now until next week.
March 12, 2011 at 20:34 #344440It’s the Racing Post one.
