    So the powers that be have reduced next seasons Premier Racedays from 162 to 52! and scrapped this protected window nonsense. Why anyone thought this would have made any difference is beyond me, scrap them full stop.

    It never made much sense, did it? Just make the main Saturday meeting the Premier meeting, and make sure the feature race has the adequate space around it, so it is the focus of the day. Job done.
