<br>Preacher Boy runs today in the Wincanton 4:00 and it seems that TRF members have an edge when assessing his chance.
Thanks to a posting from a member following his last run, we know that he suffered an injury near the end of his last race at Sandown and returned home lame, The injury would seem to explain his rather tame finish in that race.
Two points – none of that information has been made available to the public as required by the rules. The trainer is required to report anything which may have affected the running of the horse in a race.
Secondly, does our knowledge of that injury qualify as ‘inside information’ and mean that none of us should be betting on the race today for risk of prosecution?

Well not on Preacher Boy anyway! And the way the betting is going it looks like Pipe’s French import can’t be beaten today.
Seriously though, the posting of the information on TRF means that it is in the public domain as it is in a publically viewable area. Whether or not the public get to see it or not is irrelevant IMO.
February 17, 2007 at 11:44 #29354looks to have a good chance on other counts the other horses all of track a while it,s big dip on the weights just two of them
February 17, 2007 at 13:25 #29355Isn’t it badly weighted though with Mick Fitz putting up overweight?
