French races are well re known for a slower pace, should have gone to Newmarket Brian.. if you need a race planner pal..

I really fancied Knight to win this today as he didn’t get any sort of race behind the riderless Chaldean in the Greenham.
Unfortunately he was withdrawn at the start so never got a chance to see how he would have faired against Isaac Shelby and the winner. He was drifting in the betting before the withdrawal so something was not right.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Really enjoyed watching the three Group 1s at the exquisitely-landscaped Longchamp – almost, but not quite, wished I was there.
Blue Rose Cen the highlight and tbh I thought she won the better race.
