Interested in the next race as the top 3 in the betting are decent mares, and Kargese was on my shortlist for the TTF. With three places available I’ve gone for two ew at big prices though- Cottesloe Sunshine might prefer better ground but sometimes pops up unexpectedly and has the assistance of Danny Mullins ; and I can’t let a Kilbarry mare go unbacked

Well my two ran as their prices suggested. Cottesloe Sunshine is tiny, poor wee mite couldn’t keep up. I don’t think.the omitted fence benefited Kargese- she jumped well and looked quite relaxed initially, but seemed to get a bit revved up on the long gap when there were no obstacles to think about. I might bsck her next time, but I don’t think she’s going to win the Arkle.

Both should stay the trip and Fishery Lane not beaten miles last time so race fitness may help.
I’m very interested in Port Joulain too longer term, a difficult ride but he could turn out to be good.
It’s an interesting race with plenty of runners with future potential.

I’ll try Kai Lung in the first at Naas today, might not like the ground but enough hope in the pedigree to suggest he should manage, had an ew tickle on the Triumph at 50s too.

He’s a blocky little chap and reminds me a bit of Tax For Max. Maybe more for Aintree than the Triumph, if he’s up to G1s at all, but anyway.
I’ve reinvested £1 ew at 10-1 on The Enabler in the 3.25. Betting says no but he has to place to qualify for the NH chase at the festival and he’s not a bad horse
