1.05 Cork Le Labo
UR at the first through no fault of his own on hurdling debut, when fairly well fancied.December 7, 2025 at 13:12 #1746913D’oh! Was counting my money. Hope both ok.
December 7, 2025 at 13:32 #1746920Unlucky Grass, still a Good call. Hopefully will have another day for you
December 7, 2025 at 13:37 #1746922Interested in the next race as the top 3 in the betting are decent mares, and Kargese was on my shortlist for the TTF. With three places available I’ve gone for two ew at big prices though- Cottesloe Sunshine might prefer better ground but sometimes pops up unexpectedly and has the assistance of Danny Mullins ; and I can’t let a Kilbarry mare go unbacked
1.40 Cork
Kibarry Saint
Cottesloe SunshineDecember 7, 2025 at 13:50 #1746927Well my two ran as their prices suggested. Cottesloe Sunshine is tiny, poor wee mite couldn’t keep up. I don’t think.the omitted fence benefited Kargese- she jumped well and looked quite relaxed initially, but seemed to get a bit revved up on the long gap when there were no obstacles to think about. I might bsck her next time, but I don’t think she’s going to win the Arkle.

Port Joulain
Fishery Lane
Both ew
Both should stay the trip and Fishery Lane not beaten miles last time so race fitness may help.
I’m very interested in Port Joulain too longer term, a difficult ride but he could turn out to be good.
It’s an interesting race with plenty of runners with future potential.January 25, 2026 at 12:45 #1751817I’ll try Kai Lung in the first at Naas today, might not like the ground but enough hope in the pedigree to suggest he should manage, had an ew tickle on the Triumph at 50s too.
January 25, 2026 at 14:34 #1751838He’s a blocky little chap and reminds me a bit of Tax For Max. Maybe more for Aintree than the Triumph, if he’s up to G1s at all, but anyway.
I’ve reinvested £1 ew at 10-1 on The Enabler in the 3.25. Betting says no but he has to place to qualify for the NH chase at the festival and he’s not a bad horseFebruary 8, 2026 at 14:05 #17539352.20 Nav Poetisa 9-2
All over the place on her first hurdles run and did well not to get beaten further. If she has wised up a bit she has a decent chance here. Got her in a double with Gold Dancer for the Ten Up too.
March 17, 2026 at 16:22 #17603115.05 Wex Fitzroy 5-1
Got a nice mention on the stable race preview and Jody is only on his as Patrick at Down Royal. He was a backup entry for the “Doc’s bumper” that was won by the same owner/trainer combo that won it by miles with Dromard, so presumably he is reasonably decent.
April 4, 2026 at 14:55 #17619724.25 Fai Fou de Toi 28-1 ew
Pinning my hopes on the tongue a bit, but think he probably does need it.April 6, 2026 at 12:34 #1762189Following Danny Mullins again today with a patent on Macho Man, Blizzard of Oz and Saint Sam
