If you think this is an ‘EW Steal’ tactic then shame on you.
The team are backing the likliest winner and the horse who should be the odds on favourite at odds of 15/2.
The ew is just a safety net we are fully expecting to win convincingly.
SHAME ON YOU MTOTO

August 25, 2019 at 16:27 #1452177An absolutely superb bet today that unfortunately didnt win. Looked absolutely clueless for the first 5f but you could see the penny starting to drop and he made a fair ammount of ground up in the closing stages. Without any doubt the best horse in the race by a fair margin.
Will be a lot wiser next time amd I would expect the improvement to be immense. Should be very easy for connections to find a race for him next time. With the fav being withdrawn and the best horse in the race clearly needing the experience the form is almlst certainly very poor.
Even though a J Quinn horse won I would still approach this stables runners with great caution at present.

EW-GINGER BULLET@8/1
This one has been backed a bit already unfortunately though Bet365 are still 8/1 which is a cracking price.
Fahey has won this race twice in the last 3 years. Both his winners had very similar profiles to todays entry. They had either 5 or 6 runs and both ran 17 days prior to this race and both were ridden by Hannagan. Ginger Bullet has had 5 runs and ran 17 days ago amd is ridden by Hannagan.
Fahey loves winners at this meeting and this one looks like its been lined up to win today. The draw is absolutely fine in stall 9.
Ginger Bullets father won 2 races in his career both were 6f on good ground.
His mother only had 3 races but won as a 2yo over 6f on good ground. Her father won 8 times over 6f with 4 of those wins coming on good ground.
So its fair to assume that 6f on good ground is perfect conditions for this horse and thats what he gets today.Certainly not one of Faheys star 2yos but was progressive in his first 3 runs according to rprs of 44-50-61
He then ran in a handicap and only got an rpr of 39 but that can be forgiven as it was his handicap debut and many horses will run below form first time in a handicap.
He ran in a class 4 handicap last time. This is a big drop in class today and he is almosf certain to show his best form yet today.
QUEENS BLADE is currently fighting for favouritism in this race. She beat GINGER BULLET back in May by 1 3/4 lengths at Doncaster over 5f but she was recieving 9lb from him and today only recieves 1lb from him which surely makes Ginger Bullet likely to reverse that form comfortably here with conditions ideal for him.
Massive chance of Fahey making it 3 wins from the last 4 runnings of this race. High chance this horse leaves them all trailing today. Has been held up or mid division all 5 races watch them switch tactics today and race up with the pace.
The team cannot wait to watch the TONY PYKE 60TH BIRTHDAY 2yo SELLING STAKES
Forget about the champion 2yo trophy its all about The Tony Pyke

WIN- CARLOVIAN @11/2
Never mind the St Leger its all about the Gentleman Amateurs class 6 handicap.
August 29, 2019 at 13:23 #1452351Short priced favourote NINJAGO beat CARLOVIAN by over 5 lengths over CD last month. Ninjago was rated 5lb higher for that race and had a decent 3lb claimer on top. Carlovian didnt have a claimer.
Today Carlovian is raving off a mark 13lb lower than Ninjago. Ninjago has the best amateur riding him but he obviously cant make any extra claim where as Carlovians jockey has a 7lb claim today.Taking claims into account Carlovian is 18lb better off with Ninjago for just over 5 lengths.
Carlovian showed signs that he is retirning to better form last time at Catterick which further enhances his already strong claims today.
Ninjagos trainer has had 2 previous runners in gentleman amateur races and both ran badly and were out with the washing. Carlovians trainer has also had just 2 runners in gentleman amateur races but perhaps significantly both ran crackers and were. 1st and 3rd.
Thats a very small sample to draw a strong conclusion from but its still a positive in the likelihood that Carlovian will run a big race here.Trainer Mark Walford hasnt had a winner for 33 days but that isnt a concern at all. He is a low strike rate trainer, has had 6 runners in the last 2 weeks and 4 of them ran absolute crackers (in relation to their odds) without winning so stable is in decent form.
I dont fancy any of the other horses and believe the winner is one of these 2.
Evens Ninjago or 11/2 Carlovian?
No contest. Carlovian has a huge chance here and 11/2 is an insult.

Ew- ARCHIS AFFAIRE @ 14/1
Won this race off 88 last year. Been beaten in his 3 runs since that win but has dropped back down to last years winning mark and his entire year appears to have been campaigned for him to win this race again this evening. Likely to have the kitchen sink thrown at him if needed and looks a definite trier for Dods.
The Hernando family love Hamilton and from 5 races at this track ARCHIS AFFAIRE has won 3 times and been 2nd proving he is 100% Hernando in his blood.
Must have a huge chance and 14/1 is superb

EW-FOUR MILE BRIDGE @8/1
Charlie Hills trained this horse originally and he got an opening mark of 75 from the handicapper. He switched stables to Mark Usher.
Usher has raced him 7 times this year and the handicap mark is now down to 57. The horse without doubt has the ability to win a low grade handicap from this kind of mark and he looks ready to strike today.Usher has a far superior record in apprentice handicap races than any other type of race.
A 3yo turf apprentice handicap is quite rare for Usher and its normally with older horses he enters but in the last 10 years he has won 2 from 7 entries in these 3yo apprentice races.
The horse switches to an apprentice race for the first time and is on a very nice mark.
Looks to have been crying out for this trip and has ran twice before at chepstow and handles the track.Bug Boy finished ahead of Four Mile Bridge at this track over 10f but is now 5lb worse off and Four Miles jockey dropped his hands and lost 2 places in the final few strides.
Connections will mean business today as they switch to apprentice handicap, they have not messed around with the jockey booking of Thomas ‘on fire’ Greatrex. He has already had a winner on todays card with his only ride and has now won on 3 of his last 5 rides. This is a seriously confident jockey who is riding out of his skin at present.
They have had two sighters at the track and he loves it here, they have worked the mark down from 75 to 57, they have a strong formline on the 2nd fav, they couldnt have booked an apprentice who is riding any better than Greatrex, they have switched to the apprentice race where the stable excel at and the ground is ideal.
It would be fair to assume that their intentions today are to win this race and looking at the motley crue of rivals it would also be fair to assume that he will have a very good chance of doing just that.
This is Ushers first 3yo runner in a turf apprentice race in over 2 years. The team will all be able to say that they were on. Its one to tell the grandkids about.

EW- ISHVARA @9/1 (Ladrokes)
small EW- UNIFIER @ 80/1 (betfair sportsbook)
Definition – What does Ishvara mean?
Ishvara is the concept of a higher power, but has different meanings, depending on the various schools of Hinduism. Ishvara is synonymous with Brahman (or Absolute Reality), but can also refer to the Supreme Consciousness or a personal god.Super Sunday
Have had a very good look. at this wonderul 2yo novice at York. Without being aware of the odds I felt that either ISHVARA or UNIFIER look thr likliest winners here.
I almost spat my coffee. out when seeing that UNIFIER was 80/1. I was expecting perhaps 5/1.
September 8, 2019 at 10:41 #1453161NORTHERN CELT (50/1) – Well drawn in stall 2 on beverley debut but only 8th of 10 beaten 14 1/2 lengths and is of no interst today.
WILLING TO PLEASE (25/1) – Debutante. Trainer not had winner for 39 days. Horse doesnt make any appeal today.
LADY NECTAR (16/1)- Currently all blue and being backed this morning but only ran 5 days ago. Gets a handicap mark after todays race. Race will come to soon for the silly filly and not good enough.
SAMS CALL (14/1) – Easterby is just 1 win from 38 2yo runners at York in the last 5 years, he has a similarly poor record in 2yo turf novice races wuth a 2 from 81 record in such races.
Its an unlikely winner here.NO MERCY (7/1) – Has already had 5 races and doesnt look progressive, not delivered on the promise of his debut run. The sire SEPOY has yet to produce its first York winner having so far had 17 attempts producing no winners and only 1 place.
LEAPERS WOOD (9/2)- Jockey Callum Rodriguez returned to racing yesterday after a 6 month ban for cocaine. In the real world people who get caught using class a drugs are generally frowned upon but in the wonderul world of racing they are called heroes think Dettori, Fallon etc etc etc. Bizzare how we live in a society where you can watch ITV News and they talk down of criminal drug users yet 10 minutes later ITV racing presenters refer to criminal drug users as heroes and an inspiration to children who look up to there sporting heroes. Rodriguez can consider himself unlucky to be the one they chose to made an example of.But hes back and is lucky to be supported by Dods amongst others.
Horse was beaten at odds of 4/6 last time.
The sire Garswood was a beaten fav at york as a 2yo.
Leapers Wood has form that suggests he could get involved here though is of no interest at the odds. They may have held onto this one as a welcome back gift for the jockey to celebrate his return from a ban for class A drugs. Could go well but I think it will be beat.ALBEN SPIRIT (3/1)- Currently being heavily backed across the boards and now fav in places with money continuing to come this morning.
Trainer tends to have the 2yos close to fully tuned for debut amd this was only 4th. May not have a massive ammount of improvement from 1st to 2nd run. Trainer is on fire currently with his 2yos and 4 of his 15 2yos to run in September have won. He is one of the top 2yo trainers at york with 17 2yo winners here in the last 5 years.
The trainer has a very poor record in this race. he has had 3 runners at single figure odds and all 3 runners were unplaced. Bizzarely the racing post tell us that Fahey has an excellent record in the race (if anybody says the comments they make are often designed to aide the bookmaking industries profit and things like this are regulary done on purpose then they will have me to answer to).
Alben Spirit could win and he could improve but dont bank on it. Has to be taken on.CLAN ROYALE (11/4)- Has been very disappointing so far being beaten in all 3 starts for Varian. Top trainer of 2yos though only 1 2yo winner at York in the last 5 years and although Varians older horses are running well he is 0/9 with his 2yos so far this month and he is normally a high strike rate trainer with 2yos. Blinkers are put on in desperation here.
Unplaced last 2 runs at odds of 1/3 and 11/8 fav.
He cant be fancied with any confidence here and isnt a horse to trust.
On the plus side his powerful owners have top group 1 horses such as Defoe on the negative side this isnt Defoe. Could end up all clicking today but probably wont.September 8, 2019 at 12:16 #1453170ISHVARA is a filly carrying a penalty giving weight to the boys. That instantly sounds bad but she should have a good chance of winning her 2nd race in this field.
she showed great tactical pace throughout her debut and won nicely really pulling clear and stretching the field right out at Nottingham. They then threw her in at the deep end at listed level where she ran with credit til about a furlong and a half out when she just couldnt go with the 5f sprinters at that level. The 2nd Al Raya won a group 3 on his next start.
Jockey Kieran Shoemark was very easy on the horse from about a furlong out once apparent she didnt have the pace for that teat.
The extra half furlong combined with the drop in class and the return of Richard Kingscote who rode her for the win on debut should see her back to winning ways today.Cowell trained the 2017 winner of this race and she was also a filly carrying a penalty which increases hope.
Her father DUTCH ART does well with with his 2yos at York and she should improve for the track, trip and todays ground.
Her mother had a son called Zamjar who Cowell also trained and won at epsom as a 2yo so he knows the family well.9/1 looks a very fair price and she must go close.
UNIFIER hasnt raced for 100 days and perhaps he has had issues and thats why he hasnt raced. I dont understand the price so maybe there is a reason like that however I cant not back a hirse i thought would be about 5/1 at 80/1.
He needed the experience and wouldnt have enjoyed the very testing ground on debut when last of 6. That was a very hot race though and there was money about for him and was sent off 11/1.
The winner Iffraz has since won a yarmouth novice under a penalty and ran in a group 2 race.
The 2nd Hurstwopd won his next 2 races in class 3 and 2 at york and Pontfract.
The 4th won on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last night.
Dubai Station was due to run in the race but eas a non runner he was group 3 placed next time out.
The quality of horses was high and UNIFIER was backed and considered to have a chance in that race.
Should progress on 2nd run and should have strengthened up since last seen so it wouldnt be a shock at all to see him go close in this field. 80/1 was to big to ignore.
September 8, 2019 at 13:47 #1453181255 York
EW-PRINCES DE SABLES @18/1
Should reverse form with perfection this time which will give him a big chance in the listed race.
Trainer Kevin Ryan is currently on fire this time
Sam Jones rode last time Tom ‘The Titan’ Eaves takes over this time,
The 1st 3 home when Perfection won were drawn high with Princes De Sables drawn low,
Yorks flat track will play into the Princes hands today as he is at hisbest on a flat track and pontefract dodnt suit him.Kevin ryan won the race 2 years ago with a 3yo and his super filly can top of a good weekend for the stable.
September 8, 2019 at 14:15 #1453183A lpvely run from UNIFIER to land the ew at 80/1. 100/1 was freely available for hours aftee I posted.
It ran as it should have ran an unlucky neck 2nd slightly worried out of it with yhe rest of the field spreadeagled.
One of the most unbelievable prices I have ever seen.
JUMBO AT 66/1 TURNED OUT TO BE A BUMBO
SO I SENT THEM 80/1 UNIFIER
TO SEND THE TEAM HIGHERSeptember 8, 2019 at 14:15 #1453184Unlucky lad & good spot, I followed in on Unifer after looking at the Jockey on board got 100/1 e/w so was a nice return….
September 9, 2019 at 14:04 #1453234Thank you Igor far too kind.

win and place- CHOSEN STAR @34.0 & 6.2 (betfair exchange)
Absolutely outstanding 2yo novice bet super filly owned by the queen today. Big big big big chance here. Price is outrageous.
If everybody could now stand whilst the national anthem plays then im certain the team will appreciate it:
All that the team ask today of Michael Bell is that he
SENDS HER VICTORIOUS
then the team will be
HAPPY AND GLORIOUS
