    Hi guys

    A question to all if i may. How is poor form identyfied, and how would it be judged to be poor form.

    If you see 0000000/0000000/0000 thats a sure sign the form is pretty

    That is one tough question to answer….If the horse in question won his last check the 2nd and 3rd out and see if they have won anything themselves, check if there was any money for them in any race they ran in, what were the races worth…..beating a couple of 33/1 shots or beating a couple of 2/1 and 3/1 shots you would expect latter form to be better but doesn’t always work out like that.

    I think the first answer I gave you was better :?

    Poor form is identified by the study of its previous three or four races. It is judged to be poor where a horse did not perform as expected if it had been placed in a position to take advantage of its previous good form, relative to the opposition.

    Of course the horse could then be put in a position where even its poor form(comparative to its previous record) is better than that of the horses encountered today.

    Unless it’s an O’Neill horse in which case it’s a cert :wink:
