Everyone’s welcome to enter just post your poem on this thread before the 4th of July then if the poll system is up and running will add that otherwise we will have to post vote.
The only rules is the poem has to be about Horse Racing or TRF.

LOL Ghost that’s cheered me up today
It’s even funnier because our neighbour, over the road, who is into his rare chickens and peacocks for some reason, known only to himself, raised an Emu from an egg and she runs around in the garden (fenced of course) at great speed, I can see her from the bedroom window upstairs and I’ve often wondered what it must be like to sit on the back of something like that and take off… 
Nathan the best poem’s come from personal experience
Think that’s inspired me to try to think up something before it all closes, maybe when I’m at work tomorrow.
Off to have another go at posting up the Leaderboard in my comp, I’m going to do it all in Word and then save it before I copy/paste
(should have done that in the first place..too keen to get out in the garden and top up the tan)

When Galileo met with Kind
They only had one thing in mindThey wined and dined until quite late
and when the Sun went down

His nightmare had recurred

TRF Nursery Oddity
Hey diddle diddle,
Ghost’s on the fiddle,
Sitting here twiddlin’ my thumbs;
While Jac and Nath are teaming up
as they sit on their lazy bums!So…
Jac and Nath went up the the betting
to win the ‘Poem of the Year’
Jac broke down when she lost her crown
and Nath shed many a tear!Up Jac got and home did trot
like Quixall Crossett on steroids.
While Nath still sat on his forlorn bum
growing a party of hemorrhoids.Don’t worry Ghost Nathans got some special cream for that.
As a treat he’s going to let you rub it in for him.
