Nope – I informed a certain Irish bookmaker that they were quoting a horse in AP lists that had been retired since Mid-January and asked for a price on a horse who wasn’t listed.
They thanked me for contacting them via the Live Chat system and the next morning when I tried to get £2.50ew on a 8/1 shot I was restricted to £1.25ew.
Moral of the story: If you ahve a winning account then don’t ask them for prices on the unlisted.

December 21, 2008 at 16:21 #198419Yes marble, I would email back at a different time of day, maybe this afternoon during racing, unless they add the horse in the meantime.
December 21, 2008 at 17:00 #198426To be fair, you haven’t actually pointed out that the horse you wish to back isn’t currently listed on the site. If you email back and explain that you would like a horse to be added to an ante-post market, they usually do so promptly.
December 21, 2008 at 17:14 #198429I got a horse added to the BF ante-post market for the Champion Hurdle in the space of one e-mail and a couple of hours.
Shame it was Absolute Image – hohohoho!!

Ditto.
December 21, 2008 at 20:49 #198464They added Asiatic Boy to last season’s Breeders Cup market for me pretty sharpish
December 21, 2008 at 20:50 #198466Ask Bet365 to quote you and then Betfair do it automatically in my experience.
December 21, 2008 at 23:17 #198490Like A Butterfly was the last mare to win it in 2002 Before then I think it was French Ballerina in 1998.
December 22, 2008 at 03:06 #198561Big Blue customer services are under strict instructions since the Preimum Charge was introduced: any inquires from customers surrounding THEFT in the run up to christmas should be met with dumb insolence.
I fear your desire for a little Cheltenham fire-up has been caught in the crossfire of this heist.
