Tenebrism 20/1 platinum jubilee
Ran well dropped back to sprinting in the champion sprint
Will be trained differently this year, being trained for speed not to stay a mile
Think there is plenty of milage in that price
Hopefully she wins/runs well in defeat in the 3:30 today
April 8, 2023 at 15:40 #1642717Won nicely as you’d expect in a listed race even with a penalty to carry
Can see her being one of the better British 6f sprinters this season
Cut to 12s which still seems a fair price to me
April 9, 2023 at 10:41 #1642764I put Tenebrism in the lays and plays yesterday at odds against was great value.
The plan will 100% be sprinting this year, well done getting the 20’sBlackbeard to conquer the World
April 16, 2023 at 22:30 #1644179Added kinross 25/1 to my tenebrism bet
the trainer has said he will be making his seasonal reappearance at Royal ascot so this isn’t his main aim
His main aim is to give frankie a win in the July Cup, the one British and Irish G1 frankie hasn’t won
But 25s to me is still way way too big for the horse who turned the champion sprint into a procession
He lines up he’s surely single figures
April 30, 2023 at 19:06 #1646209Kinross for me too, and I’ve taken 33-1
June 7, 2023 at 12:38 #1650784Wellington 14-1.
Ryan Moore been booked to ride.
June 7, 2023 at 14:43 #1650798He is a very interesting runner
And has won over 7f
Form over slightly further is never a bad thing at Ascot
June 9, 2023 at 20:17 #1650990The thing that puts me off Wellington is that he’s only ever ran at Sha Tin. You are asking a 6yo horse of 23 starts who has only ever known one routine as far as raceday goes to fly across the world, settle down in another country and go to a new track. The other thing is Sha Tin’s 6F course is round a bend, he does have 5F form on the straight track but at a lesser level. He’s not one of these Wesley Ward speedy types who needs a bend but its a small nagging doubt for me. Having said all of that its a nice enough price as his form is very useful in the context of everything else in this.
Has something happened to Tenebrism as I can’t see that she’s entered?
June 9, 2023 at 21:31 #1651004Wellington was rated 128 only a couple of months ago so at 14s thought he had an ew shout in a race with no obvious standout.
June 10, 2023 at 10:56 #1651091I think 10/1 about Art Power is probably the bet. Won well in Ireland the last day after being gelded, a career best maybe. Oisin be up top. Will have a few Aus and JPN horses to beat, Highfield Princess probably go for 5f race. Value
June 10, 2023 at 15:32 #1651146I’ve bet The Astrologist today and for this at 20s.
Needed the last run it seems.June 11, 2023 at 03:56 #1651176Artorius , good two runs in this prep , year older , track will suit and for me just rolls past then inside last half furlong
June 11, 2023 at 14:04 #1651214The name of this races changes every week, Highfield Princess would win if she ran here instead of – or as well as! – in the King’s Stand, but in the absence Artorious has to be the one.

Looks an improver. Ran well behind terrific Breeders Cup winning mare ‘Caravel’ last time out at Belmont. Badly hampered in a Grade 2 before that, giving him no chance. Has won over 7f, I think he’s got a helluva chance at nice odds.
June 23, 2023 at 20:33 #1653176I’ve got Kinross in this
