Three days of entries in and somehow the ones i wanted to run are turning up and the ones i wanted not to run are skipping them. It was hard enough getting that bit right nevermind picking the right horses in these races.

All the races apart from the ones with hotpot’s in them just look impossible to be anyway confident.I can make a case for most of them but you can for dozens of the others. A tall ask to get a winner this year.

Day 1

I backed him in his first chase and thought he ran really well in what turned out to be probably the best beginners chase you could see. The devils coachman won a grade 2 and Gentleman De Mee bolted up in a Grade 3 last week and the winner would probably be odds on in this.

Then he had a second go at Ferny Hollow which suggested the Grand Annual was on the cards.Was never going to win giving nearly a stone to the Elliot horse but i got impression he never wanted to get much closer than he did.

Then bolted up at long odd’s on after probably running a furlong further than the rest. Bizzare that was, i thought they were trying to get him beat or something. Anyhow 151 for the Grand Annual, not bad !

Had a couple of NRNB bets for this as well and then this race turned into a right mess. Could be easier to run well in this than give weight away in the Grand Annual and here we are.

Was going to back Frodon and then saw he was down to 155, surprised by that like. This handicapper has been dropping some horses like a stone this year. He could return to form and win, run well and get placed or finish out the back of the telly really.
