Yeah Man looked to be (ahem) tenderly ridden by the claiming rider in the qualifier at Leopardstown over Christmas. Qualified now without doing much damage to rating. Will almost certainly be given the British handicapper treatment but could still be 10+ lbs well in relative to chasing mark.

Pertemps final is a killer, usually very hard to pick the winner if you paused the TV 100 yards before the final hurdle, but this far out Yeah Man the one for me.

I’ve had a crack at Act Of Authority for this at 20s. Qualified back in November with a perfect 4th to Haiti Couleurs and has been minding his mark ever since. Rattled up the hill last year for 2nd in the Martin Pipe behind Woodhooh and there is more improvement to come at 3 miles.

I’ve cashed out for a small loss. Olly Murphy has confirmed he heads to the Martin Pipe instead.
