I can’t ever remember a player going down 5-0 and playing as well as poor Adrian Lewis did – that was just criminal. He never dropped his head and kept scoring heavily only for Taylor to produce the darts against the throw every time and apply the pressure. Unbelievable darts.

Lewis would have pretty much destroyed anyone else on the night IMO.

In contrast to Lewis’s heroic failure, Baxter was massively disappointing and scarcely deserved the 3 legs he won against Barney.

Great to see Whitlock hand James ‘I’ve got an BMW M3’ Wade his ass too.
