February 11, 2008 at 13:27 #142236I found the site very difficult to use and when I discovered that they charge for debit card withdrawals I decided to give them a swerve.

Cheers DJ
i’ll swerve tooFebruary 11, 2008 at 13:36 #142242They wouldn’t let me withdraw my own money (not a bonus!) until I had turned the money over several times in bets. When I complained they blamed money laundering laws.
Obviously these laws don’t apply to other online bookmakers!!
I’ve therefore taken them off my site out of protest.

True Rob
Hope those that have accounts with these guys got plenty of the 10/11 earlier
February 11, 2008 at 18:04 #142332Money laundering laws only prevent you depositing money with one card and withdrawing to another, without having withdrawn the deposited amount back to the original card. Under no circumstance should you be required to bet x amount before withdrawals can be authorised – in fact I’d suggest it’s borderline irresponsible to say such a thing.

Here are the Rules relating to the 100% bonus:
3. In order to gain the First Deposit Bonus, players must open a “Real Money Player Accountâ€
February 11, 2008 at 19:07 #142347There is a marked difference between the qualification terms for deposit bonuses and the simple withdrawal of your own money, Jim.
February 11, 2008 at 19:08 #142348Hi Jim
Firstly as I stated I wasn’t talking about the bonus. I deposited £250 had one small bet and hated the site so wanted to take my £250 out. This they wouldn’t let me do.
Secondly when I did finally get to withdraw the money after lots and lots of bets, which much to my pleasure had now risen to £750 (I don’t think they understand E/W thieves!!) they did charge me £1.50 to deposit it back to my switch card.
When I took them off my site I had a quite senior person their contact me and ask me why. When I explained they said they would look into it and get back to me. When he did get back to me he said that what had happened was correct and that it was there procedure for every new account.
February 11, 2008 at 19:16 #142350If the person who contacted you was ‘quite senior’, Alan, why did he need to go away and check procedures he must surely be fully familiarised with?
They sound like a real Mickey Mouse operation.
February 11, 2008 at 19:21 #142354Couldn’t get site to load earlier, but for those interested
February 11, 2008 at 20:47 #142376PartyBets are not a small operator. They are the bookmaking division of the largest poker/casino operator and have offices all over Gibraltar.
February 11, 2008 at 20:56 #142379LetsGetRacing, Alan1,
Fair enough.
Nor would I give business to an organization that charges a fee to withdraw to Switch, I guess choosing a name such as PartyBets says it all!
