A read back through the "Cheltenham, two out" threads of just over year ago confirmed him as the only top rider quoted at the time who voiced concerns as to what the demise of Granit Jack might look like to the casual- or non-racegoer, rather than regard it as simply an unfortunate consequence of the sport.
