The BHA have, this week, announced that from next year the fit and proper person test will be more robustly implemented for trainers and jockeys renewing their licenses. They are also in discussion with the Racehorse Owners’ Association about prospective owners now not merely completing a form, but being interviewed to demonstrate their own fitness and properness to own a racehorse and foot the associated bills.(Today’s Racing Post )

November 30, 2009 at 16:20 #261336The spiteful glee evident in your recent peppering of posts concerning the problems in Dubai and how they may – in your less than balanced opinion – affect the Maktoums is most unbecoming matey
And ffs it’s GODOLPHIN
November 30, 2009 at 17:07 #261353Andy meowd, what is your issue with the Maktoum family?
I’ve never quite grasped it. Even the general Coolmore/Man Utd legions relish the competition of a strong Maktoum presence. The stronger the competition, the better the spectacle, the stronger the breed.
I can’t take much more (and I suspect Drone is the same), of your underhand remarks. What with Tom’s niggly little snippets and now yours, I’m getting tired. Just get it all out will you?
November 30, 2009 at 17:15 #261360Agreed, Andy. Give it a rest, ffs.
November 30, 2009 at 18:44 #261385No need to read it or to reply to it.Nobody is above the law or outside the rules. I don’t make them I just comment on them. -SENTENCE DELETED – made the same observations when Henderson was given a slap on the wrist for doping his horses.I guess you guys didn’t like that either.SENTENCE DELETED
Incidentally I made no reference to competition. That is no reason to tolerate bad people in sport. Godolfin aren’t interested in competition. If they were they would not be buying up all the opposition. I’m sure that Oxx and Bolger will give Coolmore plenty of competition. Also the Aga Khan and the French.December 1, 2009 at 13:21 #261496Andy – I’ve deleted some of your comments as they were factually incorrect.
Please don’t make any specific comments regarding individuals of groups unless based on specific facts. I’ve pm’d you with details.
December 1, 2009 at 13:47 #261505Cormack.Where do I go to find the deleted items that were not factual? I don’t keep a record of my contribution and I certainly don’t intentionally contribute lies to this forum. I know that most contributions are opinion not necessarily fact but I try to avoid malicious lies as opinions.
December 1, 2009 at 16:36 #261546I’ve pm’d you on this Andy.

Not before time, not before time.
And also ask they what there plans are for their animals after their racing careers are over.
December 2, 2009 at 13:33 #261771Certain to draw more owners into racing!!! At least in England where the toppers rule the roost. Next; one will have to show that they have paid their taxes(no tax shelters please) and alimony and child support.I wonder will overseas entries be subject to the scrutiny of the god cops who want to run the racing ? How about syndicates? The tyranny of the clowns knows no bounds.
