Does anyone know the fate of this last fence faller at Ascot yesterday?
I was at the track and when the screens were up for so long I was semi hopeful that he may have just been badly winded?
I then had to leave the trackside as I had a runner so never found out his fate?April 19, 2010 at 18:37 #291215Ouste fell at the final fence and was down on the floor for about 20 minutes before, happily, getting to his feet.

April 22, 2010 at 10:12 #291663I’d emailed the trainer for an update and here is her reply:-
Thanks for the email. Ouste is fine. He is having a few days off and then a quiet time. So unfortunate for him to fall. I hope he will be back in a few weeks time! I hope to run him over the summer in a few chases and he has a good handicap rating over hurdles. I was so glad he came home.
Thanks for your concern
Kindest Regards –
Alison ThorpeI thought this was a lovely reply and good news!
