This horse is quite incredible i think.
7 Years of age he has now had 118 runs and has won over fences, hurdles, on the flat on both turf and all weather.
After notching up another victory today gamely off the front making the running at 33/1 his level stakes profit is £127.76 to my calculations, amassing £138,413 in prize money win and place.
Since he started racing in July 2004 at Doncaster over 6f in his near 5 year career he has only not raced in 3 months being August 2004, May 2005 and December 2005. So thats 40 months consecutive racing totaling 85 races on the bounce!
Wow i say, what a tough resolute horse. He may not be a Guineas Winner or a Gold Cup horse but I bet you’d have great pleasure in owning this fellow, especially seeing as he cost 5,000 guineas!

Whilst I can appreciate the ‘superstars’ & their exploits my heart will always belong to horses like Orpen Wide.
Michael Chapman quite often has really good tough horses in their class. I remember the wonderful Ei Ei & prior to that Non Vintage. - AuthorPosts
