In the latest poll released by ChezzaGov, the highly-respected Opinion Poll organisation, it was found that 100% of TRF forumites intend to vote for Ian “Chezza” Davies for 2023 TRF Poster Of The Year, 0% intend to vote for anyone else and, remarkably, 100% of those canvassed unilaterally volunteered the information that they weren’t going to vote for Hughesey based on: his taste in baseball caps, the sheer fact he isn’t Ian “Chezza” Davies, and his original views on the 2yo Democracy.

Ian “Chezza” Davies, Founder, Sole Owner, Chairman and Chief Executive of ChezzaGov, said: “These poll findings come as no surprise at all and merely reflect underlying trends.”

I can’t see you losing Ian.
The great forum public have failed to nominate me and your nearest candidate is a self confessed tree killer

It’s the same every year ….. ending with Cheeza losing , I’m beginning to think he enjoys the taste of defeat

This year it will be different – Ian “Chezza” Davies wins 2023 Forumite Of The Year in a landslide, Mike admits to backing something under the odds ante-post and Gladders cooks Chezza a continental cheese omelette – that’s your Christmas treble right there.

Even Bobby wouldn’t play that treble and Bobby likes a big price punt …

The first and the last might happen one day. But no chance of the middle one. ;-)

It’s the final voting day and, though languishing in fourth in the live poll, respected polling company ChezzaGov is predicting a late swing to the Chezza in the final hours.

Ian “Chezza” Davies, Founder, Sole Owner, Chairman and Chief Executive of ChezzaGov, said: “Every dog has his day and the law of averages alone dictates that, if an infantile, repetitive, attention-seeking, narcissist first commands, then threatens, then ultimately desperately begs the TRF massive to vote for him every single year, without fail, and with truly sickening monotony, one year a bunch of forumites will vote for him out of sheer boredom and in the hope that if he wins one of these he might go away for good. Plus Chezza’s best and he’ll sulk until Royal Ascot if he loses.”

Sorry Chezza, looking at today’s Leopardstown card you have about as much chance of the treble of Little Hero (12.05), Finnfaraway (13.15) and Monslatt (15.35) coming in

It’s never over until it’s over, Mr S!

And many thanks for your nomination and machiavellian intervention (THAT didn’t go unnoticed!) along the way.

According to your figures, Chezza then no ones voting, spooky B-)

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

Campaigning for oneself isn’t a good look.
So much so that you do have to wonder whether Chezza does not want to win.
…And campaigning against someone else winning isn’t a good look either. No matter how funny you are in doing it, Nathan.

Surely the person winning wants to think people voted for him because they wanted him to win, not because he had a campaign which other forumites in the poll did not.
Similarly, someone campaigning against another forum member surely would rather people voted for the person they considered worthy of the title… and not be influenced by such “don’t vote for …” daft stuff.

I do realise it’s all done in jest, but please no campaigns next year.
Poster Of The Year should mean something and not turned into a Christmas farce.

I’ve not campaigned for anyone for about 10 years Ginger.

Why haven’t you had a bash at gamble?

And yourself say things like, I’m not voting for this poster because they have a campaign could also be seen as influencing and or anti campaigning becoming campaigning for those that don’t campaign

Having taken GT’s typically-erudite latest posting into serious consideration, Chezza just wants to convey one last message in these final moments before the polls close….

    VOTE IAN “CHEZZA” DAVIES

    ANYONE BUT HUGHESEY!

    TREES HAVE FEELINGS TOO

PS: There will be zero “Stop The Steal” t-shirts printed, there will be no storming of the TRF Executive Washroom in protest (partly because it still needs de-fumigating after Nathan last used it), Chezza WILL accept the final result.

Then the 2024 campaign gets underway!
