Ever since the Queen visited Ireland I have felt a bond with the Brits that was not there before.Congratulations on the wonderful performances of the United Kingdom team. The whole team covered themselves with glory in all the various sports.Wonderful two weeks of sport, wonderful boost for the people of GB suffering the downturn of the economy.So good to see the horsemen and women performing so wonderfully especially beating Germany in Dressage.Some feat that.Pity we had to meet in the boxing final but that is life.Congrats again to GB.Have a winderful weekend.
What a wonderful 16 days we’ve had and very fitting that it should come to a close on the Glorious 12th. Well done and congratulations to all the teams who took part and made this such a great sporting occasion. And many thanks too to all the volunteers who generously gave their time to make this such a wonderful event. It couldn’t have been done without them.
