    Euchen Glen @ 16’s

He has not won for a while but has paid his way with a couple of cracking runs at Goodwood and York. Had the worst draw of the field and had a few traffic problems late on in the Ebor, he would not of won but surely would of been a bit closer.

As long as the jockey does not give them a hundred yards head start should have a decent chance of winning this. He always seems to be a big price which is understandable most times, but not this time. I don’t get where the 16’s comes from at all.

Best run for ages in The Ebor. Thought he was veering towards sentimental selection only as the season went on, but the ability clearly still there. 16’s is mad.

The other Jim Goldie runners catching the eye as usual. Two Auld Pals is just the type I like, and looks nailed on to be the type I’ll follow over the coming seasons. His Cesarewitch entry caught the eye too. Has other entries at weekend, so no rush to consider him here. Sir Chauvelin I’ve bet twice this year. One good, one bad. He could possibly be backup with Pyle booked, but I’m not 100%, as with horses like him, there’s sometimes the thought I’m betting him for the sake of being a Goldie horse, and I’m essentially guessing that he’s going to run well. I’ll look again at Final Decs

Tritonic has had a steady run of things the last few months, and if he’s a price, he’s another I’d consider as backup. Not that the 25’s isn’t tempting right now.

Forza Orta is a horse I like too, and at 14’s, I think old Island Brave is always dangerous to dismiss in a race like this.

My old pal Euchen Glen for me though right now

Form doesn’t look sparkling this season but Post Impressionist is now getting his ground, ran a very decent race behind Absurde in the Ebor and hit form in September/October last season.

Was between Forza Orta and Nolton Cross, Trends in RP and because I like the name it is Forza Orta.
