    Fell in the 1st at Fontwell today and must have broken both hind legs. Looked very horrible.
    Just a 4 year old with his best performance was being beaten 38 lenghts.

    Wasn’t sure if it was his legs or perhaps pelvis. Was difficult to see if anything happened just before he jumped the hurdle because I’d say it’s extremely unusual for such injuries from a hurdle fall, considering they weren’t going that fast. Poor lad, rest in peace little one. :(

    OMG – that’s AWFUL! I once witnessed a poor horse who unseated and somehow managed to carry on briefly and it looked like 2 legs had gone …
    RIP hope he didn’t suffer for too long…
