Not the type of race I’d normally look to have an Antepost play in, but I like one here……

Agincourt only ran Sunday, but she wasn’t given a hard time after getting into all kinds of trouble, so not overly concerned if she reappears here quickly.
That run at Ascot in The Gp2 Duke of Cambridge gives her a live chance here, and Ryan Moore an interesting booking.
Agincourt 14’s
July 28, 2020 at 22:40 #1495454Looking at the race it looks wide open but if the going was soft I would be all over one master like a rash.
July 30, 2020 at 17:03 #1495762One Master is the obvious one and holds the best form by a street, but i’m going to split stakes and take her on with two here.
Valeria Messalina- Well backed in the market last time down from 16s, they obviously think a bit of her having not stayed a mile in the Ire 1000G. Don’t get me wrong the form of the race isn’t rock rock solid, but i feel she’ll improve again, and probably love a track like Goodwood. Frankie riding is a nice positive and while she has to shoulder a 3pd penalty, i hope she could be up to it.
Under the Stars- Another who probably doesn’t see out the mile. Dropped to 7 and wins, PJ McDonald has a handy record at the track which helps and i think she could surprise a few.Twitter: Jackh1092
Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!July 30, 2020 at 17:20 #1495770Will one master even run on ground this firm?
July 30, 2020 at 17:38 #1495778says she ran twice on GF in 2019 here https://www.racingpost.com/profile/horse/1483377/one-master/form
July 30, 2020 at 21:14 #1495798I’m going with two in this.
I like Valerie Messalina as well Jack, and I’ve taken 20-1. Anna Nerium I like as well but I think if I wait until tomorrow I might get a bigger ew price.
July 31, 2020 at 02:12 #1495823I’ve decided to add a second here.
She’s been below par so far this term, but Boomer ran well here last year, and at a price, she’s definitely getting bet. If she’s on song, I’m hopeful I can green out on the race, as if on song, I’d expect her to be prominent close home. That would be perfect, as I’ve topped up Agincourt to the four places as well.
Agincourt 14’s
Boomer 25’sJuly 31, 2020 at 11:40 #1495840Jack I nearly went with Valerie Mesalina as well, but this is a race where I did not want two, so I’ve stuck with my main selection which is Under The Stars
July 31, 2020 at 11:49 #1495842I like her too Buckers! Hopefully she clicks for us!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!July 31, 2020 at 12:57 #1495852I went for Althiqa, could improve past Under the Stars on only 5th run. I almost went for Valeria Messalina, until I realised the penalty. Must make things a little harder now
July 31, 2020 at 13:52 #1495862Washout for us lol, hope you had EW Kris and Jack, very very unlucky
July 31, 2020 at 13:54 #1495863Haha nope I split stakes and went straight. Sure not to worry! Ran a cracker but One Master just too classy

That draw was a coffin box for a hold up horse
July 31, 2020 at 14:05 #1495865Show Oisin Murphy the ride to show him how its done to get out.
July 31, 2020 at 14:14 #1495867Agree Mike. I hope Under The Stars is OK walked onto the horse ambulance.
July 31, 2020 at 14:27 #1495870It did help that he was on by far the best horse and she responded immediately when urged to go through the gaps
Shed surely have been odds on with a better draw
The draw certainly stopped me from backing her
July 31, 2020 at 17:13 #1495887I did VtC, thanks, but I don’t think that the bookies will be too worried with the size of my bet.
