All up the Toby Carvery for Sunday Lunch then Nathan with an extra yorkshire pud

It’s Alex’s birthday today so we are off ice skating.
If I don’t post after today it’s because I’ve lost my fingers in an ice skating accident..

Nathan and Bob were the big winners with good doubles. It’s Nathan who goes into the final day in a narrow lead over Bob, although Nathan may need a page turner if he wins the book!

Well deserved win unless I’ve miscalculated (possible)
Nice to win it with Lalor
And a near miss with Silver Streak.Enjoy the book.
November 18, 2018 at 17:57 #1380964Being superstitious I’ll hold that thought and let Corm call it, but thank you Yeats and yes Lalor made it for me today, what an emotional rollercoaster for the yard.
I’ve just finished watching my recording and I’m fit for nothing at the moment. LOL Jac

November 19, 2018 at 10:43 #1381009Well done Jac, your library must be bigger than Tauntons…..
Was a tricky comp, thanks Cormack.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
November 19, 2018 at 11:38 #1381019Thanks for the congrats Yeats, VTC, green, RedRum and Nathan.
This was one competition that I never expected to win, I just went with my heart on the last day and it paid of although if Silver Streak had got past Nietsche I could have returned a healthy profit and felt more worthy of the win. Just happy that Lalor came home in such great style that really made my day.
LOL Nathan, my husband’s going to go bananas when another racing book appears on the shelf, but I’m really looking forward to reading it as my old dad had a Press Photo amongst his belongings that I keep close by of Michael Scu winning at Plumpton on a horse called Blue Envoy in 1956 and I’m hoping the horse might get a mention in the book as I know nothing about him, It said on the back of the photo that he beat a horse called Mass.
Well done to all with winners over the 3 days
, there were some good priced singles that came up and perhaps a Lucky15 Comp next time might see more of us in the mix putting in a profit, those Yankees are so hard to pull off. Many thanks to Cormack for putting up such a great prize and running the comp, I’ll PM you today with details. Jac
