Ayr Silver, and Gold Cup
Hillbilly Boy, Tatlisu, Gran Canaria Queen
Boom The Groom, Poyle Vinie, Blaine
50p Combination Exactas and Trifectas-£577.60
September 19, 2015 at 18:09 #1207552Unlucky with first and third in the Silver Cup VTC !!
September 19, 2015 at 23:14 #1207572Cheers Raymo, so bloody close

Delighted with 22’s on Tatlisu, though I had more on Hillbilly Boy. As well as hitting the crossbar with the exacta, also had Tatlisu going on to Poyle Vinne for an ew double, got the place up obviously, but the win part would have been smashing haha.
October 13, 2015 at 14:22 #1217560Bob any thoughts on greatwood hurdle
HARGAM 14/1 for me
Ran a great race in triumph hurdle on ground he hated. With L’Ami serge going over fences.Top Notch trained for a world hurdle and while owner has Thomas Edision i feel that horse lacks the potential of Hargam.Any thoughts
October 13, 2015 at 22:59 #1217580Darren, totally with you, when I seen those quoted, he was one of the few that jumped out. It’ll definitely be day of the race bet for me though, got the race badly wrong the last couple of years, so no Antepost bet this year……….as tempting as that 14’s is.
Like the favourite All Yours as well, and a couple of the Irish contenders, but I’ll have a proper look when the entries come out.
October 24, 2015 at 13:08 #12188111410 Cheltenham
Workbench, Dunraven Storm, Astracad
50p Combination Exactas & Trifectas-£764
Aaaaargh, 2,3,4…….and no profit on the race either, as only had a win bet on Workbench
October 25, 2015 at 17:32 #1219016Got my internet account up and running! Stupidly backed the Henry de Bromhead horse in the Old Roan without studying the race thinking that he wasn’t one to bring a horse over for nothing but had a win bet on La Bague au Roi..hopefully at 4/1 but probably ended up backing SP
wondered if you were tempted by Ely . Do we finally give up on him?? Am now on the slippery slope I fear….October 25, 2015 at 18:56 #1219112Yeah, I stupidly bet Ely today moe, and looking at the report, that’ll do for me with him now.
3 others bet today, Brave Spartacus, Heartbreak City, and sadly my old friend Rajdhani, a sad day for me

On a happier note, I hope you’re going to dig me out a few winners this season
October 25, 2015 at 19:24 #1219133Think I did get SP
so need to work out how to get a price. Annoyingly I’ve left it too late to get the winners from my Jumping prospects book, one of which would have been a 16/1 winner yesterday. La Bague au Roi was tipped up as Warren’s stable star. With our racing club folding I won’t have a preview night to go to and we used to get some good tips there. Hopefully will be seeing Cole harden at Wetherby on Saturday but don’t think I’ll get much of a price on him this year. Have you noticed how well Pam Sly’s horses are doing…again I’ve missed all of them by not having an account and I think she’s been ‘spotted’ now. Need to do well to pay for my new [all singing all dancing] computer!October 25, 2015 at 19:26 #1219134…oh, and at last I should be able to back those 100/1 shots!
October 27, 2015 at 12:57 #1219314I’ll be more than happy to take a few 100-1 shots off you moe
Hope the new computer works out well and it pays for itself. Hadn’t really notice the Pam Sly form, though knew she had at least had a winner the other day.I hope you enjoy Wetherby, went to that fixture the year Marlborough won, and it was a good day out. I’ve not looked at the card in full, but really hoping for good runs from Irish Cavalier, Sam Winner, and The Druids Nephew.
Some nice horses running today, and 2 horses who are in my provisional Ten To Follow list are running. Both Novice Chasers, Sizing John, and Theinval, I’m hoping they do enough to stay in my list by 3 o’clock today.

October 27, 2015 at 18:12 #1219355Having had a ‘mugpunter’ day yesterday [got carried away with my new toy] I backed Coologue and Criq Roc today; 7/1 and 4/1 winners. Coologue was the Longsdon stable pick in my book so I thought he might be a bit of a dark horse. Missed an Adam Nicol winner…Mike knows his dad and we’re always missing his winners even though we follow him. Didn’t mention Coologue on here as I’ve had a laideeswholunch day today[ which meant leaving at the crack of dawn] although, having arranged it before I realised there was racing at Bangor I really wanted to be there today..it was a fantastic card and the novice chase at this time of year is always a good one.
October 29, 2015 at 16:40 #1219516Having such fun with this; lots of stupid bets but nearly got a 40/1 winner today [Key to the West was blue across oddschecker] and Toola Boola [who I should have backed last night at a bigger price which was one of Adams rides…never won a race but, again was blue on oddschecker] If anyone is stuck at work and wants someone to monitor whats going on on oddschecker i’myerman. My account is going from £10 to £12, back down to 7 and now up to 9 [but with a couple of ante post bets on]. The poor dog doesn’t know what’s going on with me screaming these horses home. Must work out how to do a forecast on it. And probably need to get my blood pressure checked….
October 31, 2015 at 18:28 #1219891Left Wetherby before the last race knowing that just about everything I’d backed today had bombed, only to get home and find that Billy No Name had won the last race for me and I’d backed Kilcooley twice so I’m only 80 pence down over the week but with three horses running for me tonight; Queens Jewels, Gleneagles and Frosted I might break even…
November 1, 2015 at 16:51 #1219968Backed Tepin and Found last night also but furious with myself that, having taken out an account to have bets on huge priced runners I missed the ew on the 100/1 shot that came second to American Pharoah.Getting plenty of winners but ruining it all by having silly bets [although felt justified in backing Gracenkate given that those are the names of my daughter and granddaughter. Following the de Bromhead horses at the mo, but they keep being beaten by short heads. Venetias horses aren’t quite getting there yet are they.
November 2, 2015 at 16:07 #1220150Ouch; was on Bendability in the last…glad the jockey is ok..[thought I was home and hosed]
