Norse Dancer has only had eight individual runners to date, but 50% (4) of those have won already, and they seem to be doing well on the all-weather. Those winners have been competitive off marks in the mid 70’s and early 80’s. Three of the other foure have been placed, I’ve seen a few of them in the flesh and they are good lookers. It’s a good start for him and his progeny look well worth keeping an eye on.
Passing Glance was a admirable sort, whilst not being up to the standard of the majority of stallions. He has only had eleven individual runners, five of which have won, and all of those more than once. Side Glance who finished second at Ascot off a mark of 102 would be the best of them, although Constant Contact is a 90 rated horse who may still have a bit of improvement to come. He has been at stud for 3 years now and clearly isn’t being well supported, but his record so far suggests he deserves more support. His stock are also good lookers in the main. A couple of his winners won first time out, so any rare progeny of his making their racecourse debut may be worth looking out, given they are likely to gain a "modestly bred" comment (obviously mare dependent)May 17, 2011 at 16:56 #355853Robert,
I saw Norse Dancer over here (for the Leop champion stakes I think). He is a cracker of a horse physically, pure quality and a lovely walker.
