Good luck on Tuesday. Hope all goes well
December 8, 2008 at 01:02 #195281The very best of luck for Tuesday, then, as it now happens to be. I trust he’ll be kept ticking over all right over there in the interim? Have you been given use of any local trainer’s lodgings, gallops, etc.?

December 10, 2008 at 02:29 #195779Congratulations Beckster,
Nobby ran very well, although looking a little tired at the end.
Hope he has returned safe and sound.
December 10, 2008 at 03:12 #195786Great stuff beckster…have been out all day and only heard the result when I got home!
December 10, 2008 at 04:14 #195797Great run from Nobby beckster. I thought he jumped like a buck and that was what won him the race. Although he was idiling in front he hung on well, on ground he doesn’t particularly like. He even looked as pleased as punch with himself after the race. Sam Thomas certainly was, he was over the moon.
I hope the journey back is ok for him.He certainly seems to have enjoyed another trip to Ireland.
December 10, 2008 at 07:15 #195818Very interesting run by WOA today. Made a big move about three out to come within challenging distance and had nothing left for the final push. He is a much better horse on good ground. I believe this race was an exploratory run otherwise his jockey made a mess of it and that is just not like Davey Russell. So I am not writing him off yet at the highest level.
December 10, 2008 at 17:20 #195877Good race, if I was going to be overly critical of a jockey I would say Jacobs didn’t make full enough use of the Listener considering the ground was right in his favour as opposed to the other 2 and Noland was unproven over the trip on it. But a great performance by the winner and I would assume its Ascot next then the Ryanair for him.
