Sad to report that Nile Moon was reported dead over the weekend having suffered a ruptured abdomen at home.
The former Howard Johnson and Ann Hamilton inmate, twice successful at Kelso in 2009, had latterly developed into a rewarding front-running ride in Points. Three victories last spring under Lucy Sutcliffe culminated in the novice riders’ championship final, held at Tabley last May.
