The story about Tranquil Sea going straight to Cheltenham would have been before it was known that this race was being rescheduled?

Do you think Tranquil Sea will run in this race

50/50 to run I’ve heard. EOG doesn’t want him to have a hard race so close to the festival.

Can’t imagine McNamara would be looking to bottom Tranquil Sea here anyway……2m isn’t his trip, and I’d expect this to be pretty-much an exercise gallop to put him straight for the Festival.

Still not convinced he will run, mind you.

As Grassy says, it’s a warm-up over an inadequate trip but, with Aran Concerto running like a drain, Tranquil Sea is head and shoulders above the rest and should win this comfortably.
Not a betting proposition at the 8/11, but his RyanAir price looks bound to shorten.

I expect Made In Taipan will give him most to do, very good horse on his day.

Very good win from Tranquil Sea, very snug in the end.
