Hope Riguez does the biz today although I don’t think you’ll get rich backing him.
He may go to Aintree if he wins well today and of course his form last time out received a boost when Kalahari King finished 4th in the Supreme Novices on Tuesday.

Harry Flashman took a hefty fall, but did get to his feet (though not seen on TV). He suffered a puncture cut where hit by the hurdle, but this is mainly superficial. He is fine, and hopefully will win a 3m event before the end of the season, as he may have scraped into a place on this occasion.

Terrific news. He’s a tough old sod, Harry (as evinced in some of his novices’ hurdle wins and near-misses just under a year ago – one at Kelso particularly sticks in the memory), and almost certainly the standard-bearer for Donald Whillans’ yard nowadays. If this episode hasn’t left any mental scars, I think he’ll find another small handicap this spring.
