Newbury in trouble???

Was reading tanya steveson,s blog on ruk the other day and she mentioned Alan lee,s piece in the times about worrying times for Newbury and was wondering if anybody read it?
I would look it up online but of course they charge nowadays.i hope it’s not bleak news for the Berkshire track but do think it needs an Edward Gillespie type to give it a kick up the backside

I totally agree with that, for some reason have always found Newbury to be a boring racecourse, nothing to do with the racing though.
