Definitely a race where I’ll have a Win and EW. For win purposes, Coole Cody looks to have a big chance. Hardly hammered for his win here last time, and just loves it here. Funamble Sivola also appeals. Nice run behind Shishkin last year, and I thought his comeback in The Peterborough was encouraging.

As for EW, torn between Janika and A Toi Phil. Both horses I’ve bet a few times in the past, and although questions to answer the pair of them, they both look fairly treated, and I’ll be checking one of them at the prices.

Two from the above, but right now, no idea which way I’ll go.

Happy to go top two against the field at likely odds with not a lot to choose between most behind them.

High Up In The Air – Seasonal debut is a question mark but progressive last season and every right to be in this sort of contest.

Simply The Betts – Decent effort here in November suggests mark is workable, only fading close home after racing keenly. Outclassed behind Protektorat last time. Two C/D wins in the not too distant past and going suits.
