New information on Shergar

I had always understood that Shergar was kidnapped in 1983, never to be seen again.

I was intrigued, therefore, to see the following in an advert in today’s Post: "Shergar portrait for sale – offers – pastel by Kim Hewer of Shergar’s head, in profile. Dated 1984 and reputedly drawn directly from the horse when in Sir Michael Stoute’s yard in 1984 (dated)."

The prospective vendor goes on to say that "Ms Hewer I believe subsequently emigrated to Australia."

I bet she did.

I was intrigued, therefore, to see the following in an advert in today’s Post:

I’ve just realised how much the above makes me sound like Cyril Fletcher, of "That’s Life" fame.

Funnily enough, I look just like him, too.
