    Can anyone help me?

The new draw rules will put number one on the inside?

But am I right in believing that the straight races will remain unaltered? I am a bit concerned, Doncaster looks to have stayed the same whereas I have read conflicting arguments about windsor 5 and 6f track.

    Thanks.

All courses have been categorised as either right-handed or left-handed, with numbering from the left on left-handed courses and right on right-handed courses at all distances and regardless of whether they go round a bend.

It is mentioned in the second half of this blog:

if this has been asked before i apologise but in the racing post , has the draw advantage history been changed does anyone know ?

when they split between high , middle and low to show the percentage finishing postions to give the advantage , have they reversed it ???

    cheers

I don’t know about the historical – you’d expect them to have done it, but see below.
Check a few against other sources, that should tell you.

Postdata had no entries at all on Saturday for Kempton (right-handed with definite draw advantages to be had); maybe the RP is being a bit slow off the mark here.
