    Decent entry here…

Plenty of these will have various options over the festive period, so I’m taking a chance on Ramillies.

Hasn’t jumped a fence in public yet, so risky enough in itself, without considering his stablemates ahead of him in the market, but he’s 33’s, so I’m willing to take a chance.

He’s entered at the weekend, and if that doesn’t go to plan, then obviously a waste of time, but happy to have an early go.

    Ramillies 33’s EW

Weather causing havoc, so no option but to cash out.

Hoping to see minella cocooner here

And expecting him to come on plenty for the run, hopefully better ground and a return to 3 miles

Suspect classic getaway and gerri colombe may clash at limerick on what is usually bad ground which both seem to enjoy (though gerri colombe definitely wants 3 miles so not too sure)

I’ll be with Minella Cocooner as well lads, but I don’t want to risk a bet just now. A lot of these horses could go to different targets, so it’s a race to revisit for me.

Three Stripe Life at 11-4 looks a little too big to me, so I’ve taken the chance betting him ap

Churchstonewarrior at 14-1 for a bit of an upset. There’s a chance he can improve, and Mighty Potter looks like being a N/R

Frontal Assault 12-1 for me, but I do think Gailard Du Mesnil wins it.

Looks a poor renawal. Can’t have Gaillard du Mesnil who always seems to find someone better. Tree Stripes Life for me at 7/4

When you’ve backed the winner, but didn’t want it to win so easily as you’re also on it for the NH Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

I was watching Churchstone Warrior all the way round as I fell in love with him when I saw him at the start. He really struggled with the fences at the start ( he’s not the biggest) but got better and better. Going to keep an eye on him going forward. Watching the race with my little grandchildren though and had to brush over the fatality which was a sickener.

That was horrible to watch; thought the RTE team rather ignored it afterwards.
