2.50 juvenile filles’ race at the Curragh today contains:
Ballet Slippers: out of Magical, by Dubawi
Falling Snow: out of Winter, by Justify
Tea Rose: out of Marsha, by FrankelLesser lights in the race include a Jessica Harrington trained, Yulong owned filly by the sire of Millisle.
I might put a little on Falling Snow for an interest. She won a barrier trial at Dundalk in a hand canter (beating nothing admittedly) but I liked her attitude. She’s striking looking, a proper pale grey already. Hope she can be as good as her mum.
Falling Snow needed every yard to get there but has the scope to do better again. You can get 25s for the 1000gns and the same for Oaks. I’d already put a bit on for the former so put half of today’s winnings on the latter.

This year’s two year crop of fillies is very deep to say the least
Tea Rose didn’t cover herself in glory in that race last year, and isn’t very big, but has a belated second go in the 3.55 at Navan tomorrow. I’ll put a pound on her for an interest.
Ballet Slippers is out today in the 5.00 at the Curragh, put a bit on her ew and an ew double with Al Qareem.
